Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Hardware Engineer located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

As Toppan’s IT Hardware Engineer you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, maintaining/repairing our IT Hardware and providing technical support for our internal systems. Other key responsibilities include:

• Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.
  
• Collaborate with IT Teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and internal systems for fulfilling the Company’s business objectives and processes.
  
• Perform daily backup tasks and monitor system performance.
  
• Collaborate with the Development Team to report and system issues (bugs) and work towards their resolution.

The Company will provide comprehensive training regarding the concerning hardware.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer or similar role.
  
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  
• Relevant knowledge of IT Systems, infrastructure and networking.
  
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Fluent in English.
  
• Work permit in Ethiopia.
