Overview

TOPPAN Security SOMA™ is a family of secure Chip Operating Systems (COS) developed over the past 15 years to serve the specific needs of secure electronic documents.

TOPPAN Security family covers the needs for highly secure ICAO® ePassports, national e-IDs, resident permits, digital signatures, and multi-application cards. SOMA™ undergoes security evaluation following Common Criteria guidelines and has been a top performer at various international interoperability tests.

TOPPAN Security SOMA™ integrates with TOPPAN Integrale™ issuance and verification systems for ePassports.
