System Support Administrator (Ethiopia)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a System Support Administrator at Toppan Gravity Ethiopia in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

As Toppan’s System Support Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, resolving system issues in a timely and efficient manner. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.
  • Providing orientation and guidance to users on how to operate software and computer equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to report and system issues (bugs) and work towards their resolution.
  • Support VMware and Kubernetes environments.
  • Support both Windows and Ubuntu environments.
  • Create user-friendly guides and manuals for common issues.
  • Perform daily backup tasks and monitor system performance.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience as System Administrator or similar role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong customer service attitude.
  • Knowledge of VMware and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Windows and Ubuntu operating systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal) skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Work permit in Ethiopia.
